Her-story

My love affair with tarot began in 1993 when a friend of mine indicated that she wanted a tarot deck for her birthday. I was living in the Florida Keys at the time and there wasn't a lot in the way of shopping on the island where I lived but I happened to remember seeing a couple tarot decks tucked away on one of the shelves at a little nearby shop called the Blue Moon Trader. There were only three or four decks available and they were all very different but as I went through the process of trying to pick out the perfect deck for my friend I found myself drawn in by the images. The pictures seemed to speak an unspoken, timeless language. That would be the beginning of my never ending journey with tarot. My study has been quite intensive since then. In 2003 I was finally persuaded by Tavane Taylor, owner of Eclectic By Nature in Greensboro, NC to read professionally at her shop, which led to one adventure after another...and the rest is her-story. To be continued....Write your post here.

Diary of an Irish Muse....blog

Diary of an Irish Muse

Tarot Tales

When I teach people how to work with tarot cards it's from a very personal approach. I tell my students to think in tarot because it's really the only way to understand it. This is what my blog is about. These are my experiences and how I relate to the cards. It doesn't go in the proper order of the cards because my life rarely goes along in the proper order of the cards. Sometimes it will be a minor card I struggle with or find insight from, something more on a mundane level, most likely a situation or something I've just gone through. And other times it will be the Major cards and how I relate to them, what I learn as I discover what my life lessons are and how to go about them. Why am I doing this? Because it's what I do. I think in tarot and I like to talk about it. It's what inspires me most.Write your post here.

Diary of an Irish Muse
